Once you have had you baby you are welcome to come back into class with your new baby. We would love to see you.

You are also welcome to bring your husband or partner. We appreciate any information that you want to share with the group about your birth and also any tips that you can give to other women who will either have a home birth or go to their local hospital.

Birth Story
Tell your Birth Story

If you and your husband or partner want to write out a birth story I would be happy to read it for you.

If you had a traumatic birth experience and need to talk to someone please do just ask and I can refer on when necessary. It is perhaps better to deal with your feelings and emotions now and put them to rest.

10 Top Tips
10 top tips for Labour

If you want to write out 10 top tips that you would like to say to other pregnant women or the husbands/partners of other pregnant women after your birth experience please send them into me and I will compile them anonymously and put them onto this page.

For example what did you need at the hospital that you forgot to take?

If your husband/partner wants to contribute to your top 10 Tips that would be great as they will have a different perspective to you as well!

Many thanks for your help

Melanie

Tips from Mums & Dads:

Keep hydrated to stabilise your blood pressure otherwise you will be kept in hospital after the birth.

Ask questions and brief your birth partner(s) of your wishes.

Have nipple shields ready just in case you need them in your hospital bag.
